Your Nubian Village tour begins with pickup from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan. From there, you’ll head to the marina where your by motorboat or felucca starts.
As you sail along the Nile River, you’ll enjoy scenic views of Elephantine Island, lush greenery, and traditional along the riverbanks. The boat ride itself is a relaxing and enjoyable part of the experience, lasting 20–30 minutes.
Upon arrival at the Nubian village, you’ll walk through colorful streets filled with beautifully painted houses in bright Your guide (if included) will introduce you to the history and traditions of the Nubian people, explaining their unique culture and heritage.
You will be invited into a Nubian home, where you can sit, relax, and enjoy traditional hospitality. Here, you may be offered hibiscus tea or other local drinks. You’ll also have time to explore small local markets selling handmade crafts, jewelry, and souvenirs.
One of the highlights is visiting a Nubian house that keeps a small crocodile—an interesting and famous tradition in the area. You’ll have the chance to take photos and learn more about its cultural significance.
After spending around 1.5 to 2 hours in the village, you will return by boat to the marina, followed by transfer back to your hotel, ending your memorable cultural journey.
